I love reading a book and then getting to meet the author. However I had a problem. Although there are author events taking place all over the city every day of the week, there wasn’t a single place to find every author event occurring on a given day.
Since no one else seemed to be doing this, I figured I’d give it a shot. My hope is that we see even more people making it out to these events and supporting authors.
If you know of an event that doesn’t appear on the calendar, send me an email – seetheauthor at gmail.com. I’m focused on author events, so no book clubs or discussions please.
UPDATE: The world has changed a bit since I started this site. Given in person events are on hold for the moment, I’m shifting to focus on mainly Chicago related book reviews. Once circumstances change I hope to move back to this site being the go to spot for a Chicago calendar of author events.
